One individual, operating under the name AiResearchPlus (Gin Levi), has been systematically gaming the system to eliminate competition and climb to the top of rankings through unethical means.
⚠️ The Problem is Getting Worse and Worse
This was previously called out several times. Multiple GPT builders had an issue with specifically AiResearchPlus. The results of unfair competition include:
- Forging BANs through OpenAI
- Faking statistics - being literally above everyone, including GPTs on the first pages of GPT Store
- Being above everyone WITHOUT providing any use
- Making normal GPT builders unable to fairly compete

One of the most documented cases comes from max3xis, who reported in October 2024: "Long story short: there is a guy on the gptstore (AiResearch / Gin Levi) that copied my GPT and somehow got my GPT banned and this happened to many GPTs that competed with his GPTs in the store. It seems like the creator 'Ai Research+' has been gaming the system by somehow removing its competitors and that way they climb to the top."
